Refund Policy — Digital Products

This policy covers our digital products — the Jewellery Costing Calculator, our PDF guides, and our online course. For physical products, see our main returns policy.

Your rights come first

Our digital products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

If there is a major problem with a digital product, you are entitled to choose a refund or a replacement. A major problem is one where the product:

  • doesn't do what we said it would do, or what you'd reasonably expect it to do
  • is significantly different from how we described it
  • has a fault we can't fix within a reasonable time
  • can't be used for its purpose, and that can't easily be fixed

If the problem is minor — something that can be fixed — we'll fix it for you free of charge, within a reasonable time.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by a fault in one of our products.

Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

If something isn't working

Email contact@jewellerysuppliesco.com and tell us what's happening — what you were doing, what the file did, and what device and browser you're using. A screenshot helps enormously.

  • We'll reply within 2 business days.
  • If it's something we can fix, we'll fix it and send you the updated file at no cost.
  • If we can't fix it within a reasonable time, you'll get a full refund.

We'd genuinely rather fix it than refund it. Most problems turn out to be something small we can sort out in an email.

Change of mind

Because our digital products are delivered instantly and can't be returned once downloaded, we don't offer refunds for change of mind — for example, if you decide you don't need it, bought it by mistake, or didn't get around to using it.

This doesn't affect your rights above if there's a genuine problem with the product.

Before you buy, please check:

  • Your device and browser are covered. The calculator runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox — on a Mac or a PC. It will open on a phone or tablet, but phones don't reliably keep your saved work, so it's built for a computer.
  • The product is what you need. Every product page says exactly what's included, and we're happy to answer questions before you buy.

What isn't a fault

To be upfront, so nobody is disappointed:

  • Our digital products are guides, not advice. They help you understand your own numbers. They are not accounting, taxation, financial or legal advice, and they don't replace your Profit and Loss statement or your accountant.
  • We can't guarantee a business outcome. What you charge, what your market pays, and what you earn are up to you.
  • Not every making process is covered. We've aimed at the most common ways handmade jewellery and small products are made. You may need to adapt things to suit your own process. That isn't a fault in the product.
  • The results depend on what you enter. The calculator works from your figures. If the numbers going in are wrong, the numbers coming out will be too.

Duplicate purchases and access problems

  • Bought the same thing twice? Email us and we'll refund the duplicate.
  • Download link didn't arrive or expired? Email us and we'll send it again — there's no time limit on this, and it isn't a refund situation, it's just us re-sending your file.
  • Lost your file? Email us from the address you bought with and we'll re-send it.

Courses

If you've bought an online course and something goes wrong — a video won't play, a lesson is missing, you can't access it — email us and we'll fix your access.

If we can't get you access within a reasonable time, you'll get a full refund.

Copies, licences and sharing

Our digital products are licensed to you for your own business use. They aren't for resale, redistribution or sharing.

Refunds aren't available where a product has been shared, copied or resold in breach of that licence.

Faster than any policy

If you've got a problem, just email contact@jewellerysuppliesco.com. We're a small Australian business, we read every email, and we'd much rather sort something out than have you stuck with something that isn't working.
